FOUNDER/CEO
Mrs. LaVoice (Ward) Sims officially founded our company in November 2017.
A native of Chicago, Illinois, Mrs. Sims obtained an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science focusing on Ophthalmic Technology in 2005.
The birth of her daughter in 2009 inspired her to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a funeral director. Thus, obtaining a degree in Mortuary Science in 2011.
Mrs. Sims had the honor of training and working with some of Chicagoland’s most prominent and respected funeral homes, funeral directors, and embalmers. Today she still humbly call on several of her colleagues for advice and words of wisdom.
In her words, “Collaboration is key. Everyone brings something unique to the table.”
In November 2017, Mrs. Sims made the bold decision to establish an independent funeral service and become available to bereaved families in the Chicagoland community.
Mrs. Sims believes in helping the “whole man.” Therefore she became a licensed insurance broker in 2016 to advocate the importance of life insurance, inheritances, and estates.
Coupled with at need services, Mrs. Sims and staff also provides pre-need service planning.
